What’s been happening:

I moved to Los Angeles shortly after graduation, where I worked for about eight years as a freelancer in film and television production (production assistant, stand-in, video camera, sound, etc.). I began working as a film archivist at the UCLA Film and Television Archive in 1987, and moved on to the Academy Film Archive in 1992. I became the AFA Collections Curator in 2001 when the archive moved to its new facilities at the Pickford Center in Hollywood.
